Using the highly sensitive microarray, 102 circRNAs and 67 circRNAs significantly upregulated and downregulated, respectively, were distinguished by Arraystar platform, in esophageal carcinoma (EC) tumors relative to adjacent normal tissue. Hsa_circRNA_401955 showed the most connection, thus regarded as the hub gene. Hsa_circRNA_100375 and its four connected MREs axis played a key role in the cancer related pathway of EC. CircRNA dysregulation may be involved in the tumorigenesis of EC and certain circRNAs may become new biomarker and therapeutic target for EC. To characterize different expressed of circRNA in esophageal carcinoma, ten samples including five tumor tissues and five matched normal adjacent tissues from patients were detected by microarray.
