WFS Basic Ecological Unit

Basic ecological units according to the Forest Reproductive Materials Ordinance (FoVHgV) in Baden-Württemberg. When applying forest woods in the open landscape subject to the Forest Reproductive Goods Act (FoVG), the assessment of the site’s own origin is based on the basic ecological units. In addition, the dataset contains both the allocation by deposit areas for the site’s own woods in Baden-Württemberg and the classification of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) (2012). The ecological basic units can be assigned to the deposit areas of the region’s own forests of Baden-Württemberg or the BMUB. Please note the following information on the completeness and quality of the data provided: due to inaccuracies in the acquisition of technical objects, there are occasional non-valid geometries according to OGC Schema validation. Since GIS servers such as ArcGIS server, GeoServer or UMN MapServer have to use/process ever more accurate data bases, the inspection routine is always further developed and warns in the tolerance range as well as in the topological recording of inaccuracies (e.g. by third-party software). This means that geometries can no longer be displayed or recorded. The objected geometry errors include self-intersections (self-intersections) or double bases. Therefore, the LUBW cannot guarantee the completeness and stability of the Download Service (WFS). If necessary, please check the completeness on the basis of the presentation services also offered (WMS).
