Value added in construction in South Korea 2022, by industry

In 2022, the general building construction industry contributed the biggest share of value added by the construction industry in South Korea with 56.23 trillion South Korean won. The specialized site preparation and foundation construction industry achieved the second highest contribution to value added, with around 31.4 trillion won. In total, value added of the entire construction industry in 2022 amounted to 146 trillion won.
