Curated Desaturase and Elongase Repertoires across Macroalgae and What They Say about EPA and ARA: data and code (v2.9d)
收藏资源简介:
Data and code for "Curated Desaturase and Elongase Repertoires across Macroalgae and What They Say about EPA and ARA", the associated article, submitted to Algal Research. Fatty acid desaturase and ELO elongase genes were curated in 67 public macroalgal proteomes (50 brown, 13 red, 4 green). They were assigned to subfamilies in maximum-likelihood trees anchored by 116 characterized enzymes, compared with an automated Pfam survey, and joined to published EPA and ARA profiles from 18 studies for phylogenetic regressions. The deposit holds the curated candidate table, sequences, alignments and gene and species trees, the subfamily matrices, the harmonised fatty acid and sea surface temperature data, regression and composition results, and the post-review stability checks (domain-guided trees, fragment tests, BUSCO completeness). It also holds the article's number ledger, which traces every printed number to its source file, and all scripts and run logs. The article text, downloaded proteomes and the texts of cited studies are not included; the README lists their public sources.
