资源简介:
We attempted to elucidate the protective effect of spermidine against radiation-induced intestinal injury by investigating its role in remodeling the gut microbiota-barrier-inflammation axis.Fecal samples collected from mice were stored at -80°C until analysis. The samples were subsequently outsourced for sequencing to Shanghai OE Biotech Co., Ltd. The raw sequencing data were processed using the QIIME2 pipeline (version 2020.11) for quality control, denoising, and generation of an Amplicon Sequence Variant (ASV) table. Downstream statistical analyses, conducted in R (v4.0.3), included assessments of alpha diversity (ACE, Chao1, Shannon, and Simpson indices), beta diversity (Principal Coordinate Analysis based on Bray-Curtis distances), and identification of differentially abundant taxa between groups.Relevant supplementary materials are provided in a Word document, which includes stacked bar plots and heatmaps of microbiota analysis (in the Supplementary Figure section) and original uncropped Western blot images (in the Figure Original Uncropped Blots section).
