VPRS 14478 Record of Costs, Bridge Construction

This series documented the cost of bridge construction undertaken by the Railway Construction Branch of the Board of Land and Works (VA 690).The P1 consignment contains a volume created to record details of costs (bridge construction) including materials, labour, structures, etc., from 1924 to 1929. The cost relates to works on viaducts over the Maribyrnong River, Moonee Ponds Creek and bridges over the River Murray.This volume was purchased by the Public Record Office Victoria at the Charles Leski Auctions from the Norm De Pomeroy Collection of Railway Memorabilia in May 2004.
