This release contains the data and code for the paper:"Cooling effects of glaciers in the southeast Tibetan Plateau based on in-situ observations and WRF-LES simulation" The data_code.zip contains the in-situ observation data, WRF-LES output data, and the code for our paper. The WRF-LES-glacier-V2.0.zip only contains code. Contents: In-situ observational data of three glacier surface WRF-LES simulation results Python scripts for data processing and visualization For in-situ observation data: The glaciers are: Yanong(29.33°N, 96.7°E)Parlung No.4 (29.23°N, 96.92°E) (files start with 4)Parlung No.94 (29.38°N, 96.97°E) (files start with 94) Hourly meteorological data are provided in csv files per glacier. Data are quality controlled and obvious errors are removed. Filenames contain their station altitude and time range. For example, 'yanong4387_2023-08-27to2023-10-21' means the station altitude is 4387 meter and time range is from 2023/8/27 to 2023/10/21. For WRF-LES simulation data: The WRF-LES output files start with the name of "wrfout", files are in .nc format. They are the simulation result of the model domain D03 (a horizontal model resolution of 240m), detailed information about the model are written in the paper "Cooling effects of glaciers in the southeast Tibetan Plateau based on in-situ observations and WRF-LES simulation".
