Bathymetric soundings derived from ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler)
measurements every 5 minutes of time along ship's track. Measurements made on
eleven cruises to the Georges Bank/Gulf of Maine region, Jan - July 1995.
These cross sections are not the result of systemic bathymetric surveys, but
the by-product of ADCP profiling of circulation and frontal systems on Georges
Bank. Additional water depth data from this project can be obtained from the
ADCP source object, identified on the "Related URL" link below.
