Friction and Roughness: Dataset and Software

This repository includes a dataset of flow-rate measurements, inlet and outlet pressure measurements, and viscosity values estimated from temperature in a simple pressurized pipe. The pipe is located in the pilot plant of the Hydroinformatics Laboratory at the Instituto Tecnológico de Tuxtla Gutiérrez. It also provides MATLAB code to compute the Darcy-Weisbach friction factor for turbulent pipe flow. The code includes a subroutine to estimate the relative roughness coefficient from friction factor and Reynolds number values measured at different operating points.
