Floods occurred on 19th and 20th of January 2023 in northern, eastern and western Kosovo*. The situation has calmed down, but the damages caused by the floods and their consequences remain. The Copernicus Emergency Management Service - Rapid Mapping has been activated in order to estimate the flood impact on agriculture and urban areas for emergency support.
* This designation is without prejudice to positions on status, and is in line with UNSCR 1244/1999 and the ICJ Opinion on the Kosovo declaration of independence.<br>
