Transcriptomic changes during symptomatic and symptom recovery phase of Nepovirus lycopersici (tomato ringspot virus) infection

Nicotiana benthamiana plants infected with the tomato ringspot virus (Rasp1 isolate) exhibit symptom recovery at 27 oC, where asymptomatic leaves appear following a systemic symptomatic phase of infection. This transcriptomic data represent total RNA from symptomatic leaves collected during the symptomatic phase of infection, asymptomatic leaves collected during the recovered phase, and equivalent leaves from buffer inoculated (mock inoculated, healthy plants). This study aims to understand the differential regulation of various transcripts during each phase of infection that may provide a better understanding of genes and pathways involved in antiviral defence.
