Tillage and nitrogen practices affect the microbial mechanisms of soil nitrogen cycling in rainfed maize fields

Study the effects of tillage practices on soil N cycling microorganisms by the high-throughput sequencing with the application of Illumina MiSeq platform. Based on these studies, the effects of long-term tillage on soil N cycling microbes and processes will be explored, and the microbial mechanisms of long-term tillage on soil N cycle microbial communities and mechanisms will be revealed. This project will contribute to provide theoretical basis for improving nutrient cycling and yield in dryland farmland.
