Analyzing NK cell ligand expression after HIV infection in human primary CD4 T cells

The purpose of this experiment is to analyze the expression of NK cell ligands in human primary CD4+ T cells after infection with multiple HIV strains at 24, 48 and 72 hpi. This experiment will indicate the mechanism of NK cell recognition of HIV-infected cells.
Conclusion:
Expression of B7-H6, ULBP1, ULBP2/5/6, MICA, MICB, CD48, LFA-3, and Nectin-2 is upregulated in primary CD4+ T cells infected with multiple HIV strains including a primary isolate Q23-17, 2 transmitted founder strains CH106 2633 and THRO 2626 and laboratory-adapted strain NL4-3 compared to mock-infected CD4+ T cells at 24, 48 and 72 hpi.
