Volume of domestic and foreign cargo handled in the port of Narvik 2018-2020

The volume of foreign cargo handled at the port of Tønsberg significantly exceeded the volume of domestic cargo handled during the past two years. In the second quarter of 2020, the volume of foreign cargo handled in the Norwegian port amounted to over 5.4 million metric tons, while goods from domestic ports was about 377,000 metric tons.The port of Narvik is a company, owned by the muncipality of Narvik. The port has been Norway's second largests in terms of tonnage as of 2018 and is well connected to international railways to Sweden, Russia, and China.
