资源简介:
A custom telemetry pipeline was orchestrated to extract network telemetry data from a real hardware testbed. The physical hardware testbed comprises a central AP running OpenWRT firmware and two laptops running Linux Mint XFCE acting as wireless STAs.A third laptop, acting as master node, was directly wired to the AP via Ethernet. The master node orchestrated the telemetry pipeline through SSH without participating in WLAN communication. The pipeline iterated over AP configurations, traffic scenarios, and client-server device pairs. To inject the traffic scenarios and extract data, a set of 5 telemetry probes was designed. The injection of the traffic was acheived through the iperf3 tool. The probes extracted data from the wireless network interface cards, association metrics, channel utilization, instantaneous RTT, and iperf reports (client and server-side). Each probe produced reports at the node that executed them. The reports were centralized to the master node after each experimental campaign. The centralized reports were processed with a custom aggregation pipeline. The aggregation pipeline used the ping report as the final dataset backbone, and integrated modularly each other report. The pipeline also computed measures utilizing features across reports.Temporal misalignments caused by different probe sampling intervals were solved by forward-filling the low-frequency reports into the high-frequency ping backbone. Static data from the wireless network interface card was broadcasted for all datapoints of corresponding experiments. The final dataset is a time-series of over 1,800,000 high-resolution vectors (122 features).
