DOTA 全称为 A Large-scale Dataset for Object DeTection in Aerial Images，是一个包含 2,806 张航拍图的图像数据集，被用于在航拍图像中进行目标检测，发现和评估图像中的物体。这些图像来源包含不同传感器和平台。每张图像的像素尺寸在 800*800 到 4000*4000 的范围内，其中包含不同尺度、方向和形状的物体。之后这些 DOTA 图像经由专家使用 15 个常见目标类别进行注释，完全注释的 DOTA 图像包含 188,282 个实例，每个实例均由任意四边形进行标记。

DOTA, whose full name is A Large-scale Dataset for Object Detection in Aerial Images, is an image dataset containing 2,806 aerial images. It is applied for object detection in aerial imagery to identify and evaluate objects within such images. These images are collected from diverse sensors and platforms. The pixel dimensions of each image range from 800×800 to 4000×4000, and the dataset includes objects with various scales, orientations and shapes. Subsequently, these DOTA images were annotated by domain experts with 15 common object categories. The fully annotated DOTA dataset contains 188,282 instances, each of which is labeled with an arbitrary quadrilateral.
