Swine are important reservoirs of opportunistic pathogens, including representatives of the genus Klebsiella. The study of populations of Klebsiella pneumoniae in healthy swine is limiting in the literature, being too comprehensive for sick animals. Thus, the main objective of the project is to characterize genomes of Klebsiella pneumoniae from clinically healthy swines.
