资源简介:
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most frequent neoplasm in children, with improvements in survival. In Mexico, overall survival is around 60%, due to a high percentage of deaths in the first year of diagnosis, genetic variability is considered an important factor in this phenomenon that could explain the lack of response and toxicity presented by our patients with ALL. Therefore, this study will determine the presence of polymorphism in TPMT and NUDT15 involved in the metabolism of 6-mercaptopurine (6-MT), as well as those involved in the metabolism of methotrexate (MTX) being the most important SLCO1B1, SLC19A1, MTHFR, TYMS, CCND1, to determine if there is an association between polymorphisms of genes involved in the metabolism of 6-MT and MTX, with the survival of Mexican pediatric patients with ALL.
