Life span and genus effects on seed, germination, and vegetative growth traits in Lathyrus, Phaseolus, and Vicia

This dataset contains raw data values for each of the main data types used in the study "The role of genus and life span in predicting seed and vegetative trait variation and correlation in Lathyrus, Phaseolus, and Vicia" (American Journal of Botany), including seed size/shape, germination, and vegetative growth data. This includes numerous USDA accessions of annual and perennial species from each genus.<br>Supplemental Spreadsheet 1 contains accession-level data and means, individual seed size/shape data, individual germination T50 data, individual vegetative data, and daily environmental conditions during vegetative growth.<br>Supplemental Spreadsheet 2 contains replicate (petri dish) level data on germination counts for germination T50, as well as raw daily germinant counts which were used to calculate germination T50.<br>Data types are separated by the different tabs. The last tabs in both spreadsheets contain explanatory information for all column headers.
