Nanopore long read sequencing of Capsella grandiflora (Brassicaceae) to permit more complete mapping of small RNAs generated via Pol IV during fertilization. The long read data reduced genome fragmentation over previous assemblies. Capsella grandiflora is transformable by Agrobacterium mediated transformation through the floral dip method and is a model for reproductive self-incompatibility in plants.
