In this study, we report the molecular detection of Candidatus Rickettsia senegalensis and Bartonella clarridgeiea among a pool of Ctenocephalides felis fleas, and Borrelia sp. from a Haemaphysalis hystricis. A tick endosymbiont, Candidatus Midichloria sp., was discovered for the first time in Haemaphysalis wellingtoni ticks in Malaysia
