When stores could not be obtained by public tender, the stores departments (chiefly Commissariat) received Orders to Purchase the required quantity of stores in order to fulfil approved Requisitions. This record shows: date of order, to whom addressed (usually Deputy Commissary General), and description of articles.(4/1694 part). 1 vol (part).
