Calcareous areas in Saxony in 1996
收藏资源简介:
The data set contains the forest areas (calculation areas) calcified in the Free State of Saxony as part of soil conservation in 1996. Per calcification area, the quantity of natural lime applied in tonnes per hectare, the date of implementation and the forest property type (land forest, private forest, etc.) is indicated at the time of limescale. Soil protection limestone has been carried out annually in Saxony since 1986 to compensate for the deep acidification of forest soils and prevent forest damage. On the basis of soil analyses and forest location conditions, the amount of limescale per calcification area is determined and the natural lime is applied by plane or helicopter between 1 July and 31 October. The data forms the basis for the digital calcification card for Saxony. Further information can be found in the leaflet on soil protection calcification, which is published by the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
