Dataset on the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Vocational Education and Industrial Problem Solving (FAIR data)

This dataset contains responses collected through a structured questionnaire designed to investigate the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in vocational education and their influence on solving industrial and professional tasks. The survey was conducted among 3,305 respondents, including 1,576 vocational education students, 1,023 teachers, 512 vocational training instructors, and 194 representatives of educational administration, covering a wide range of vocational education and training fields.The dataset includes variables describing respondents' professional background, digital competence, AI experience, frequency and areas of AI use, perceived effectiveness of AI in educational and industrial contexts, comparative assessment of task performance with and without AI, barriers and risks associated with AI adoption, trust in AI-generated results, and perspectives on integrating AI into vocational education.The questionnaire consists of six thematic sections and combines categorical, multiple-choice, and five-point Likert-scale variables, enabling comprehensive quantitative analysis. The dataset supports research on digital transformation, artificial intelligence adoption, vocational education and training (VET), Industry 5.0, digital competence development, educational innovation, and workforce preparation.The dataset may be used for comparative educational research, statistical analysis, validation of AI adoption models, and the development of evidence-based recommendations for integrating AI technologies into vocational education and professional training.
