Transcriptomic Data for the Tetraploid Species of the Dilatata Group of Paspalum

The project focuses on the in silico identification and characterization of defensin and Snakin/GASA genes in three diploid species of the genus Paspalum and their putative five hybrids, which are allopolyploids with an equivalent genome formula. We aim to study the evolutionary consequences of the diploidization process on the expression of these two AMP families.
