The cardiomyocyte-specific Srebf1 transgenic (Srebf1-Tg) mice was generated via CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome engineering in C57BL/6N mice.Briefly, MHC promoter and mouse Srebf1a CDS fragment with Flag tag were injected into fertilized mouse eggs at the locus of ROSA26 to generate targeted transgenic offspring,aming to achieve cardiomyocyte specific SREBP1 overexpression.To investigate the mechanism of cardiac dysfunction in Srebf1-Tg mice, cardiac tissues from the Tg mice and their littermate mice at 4 and 10 weeks of age, were used for RNA sequencing.
