Microorganisms play an important role in mangrove ecosystems, and this study aimed to explore the microbial community structure and diversity characteristics in mangrove sediments in different regions of Hainan Island, China. Using Illumina high-throughput sequencing technology, we collected and analyzed mangrove sediment samples from different regions of Hainan Island, China, including the original sequencing data obtained from sediment samples from different mangrove regions, which will further provide important references for studying the microbial community structure and diversity in mangrove sediments from different regions of Hainan Island, China.
