This is the main (principal) chromosome-level pseudo-haplotype from the Salminus brasiliensis voucher UFSJ/LARGE130547 individual (SAMN24583349), from the Upper Parana River Basin in Minas Gerais (MG), Brazil. It comes from the Itutinga Hatchery, at the banks of the Grande River, MG. This genome is delivered hoping it can be integrated in methods addressing taxonomic uncertainty towards the validity of S. brasiliensis
