联合国环境规划署发布了《食物浪费指数报告2024》，报告说，2022年全球人均浪费食物132公斤，占消费者可获得食物总量的五分之一。食物浪费是一个全球性问题，目前世界上仍有约7.83亿人遭受饥饿。   CnOpenData全球粮食损失和浪费数据收集整理了科学文献综述和粮农组织统计数据库中粮食损失和浪费成因数据，涵盖了1966年起全球120多个国家的粮食浪费情况，包含国家、地区、粮食、损失量/占比、损失原因、样本大小、参考文献等，助力学者研究及衡量食品、价值链各阶段和地理区域的粮食损失和浪费。

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) released the 2024 Food Waste Index Report, which states that in 2022, the global per capita food waste reached 132 kilograms, accounting for one-fifth of the total food accessible to consumers. Food waste is a global issue, and approximately 783 million people worldwide still suffer from hunger.

The CnOpenData Global Food Loss and Waste Dataset has collected and organized data on the causes of food loss and waste from scientific literature reviews and the FAO Statistical Database. Covering food waste situations in over 120 countries globally since 1966, the dataset includes information such as country, region, food category, loss amount/ratio, loss causes, sample size, and references. It is designed to assist scholars in researching and quantifying food loss and waste across various stages of food value chains and geographic regions.
