This series contains the reports of the Inspector of Nuisances. The reports were addressed to the Mayor and Councillors. The content of the reports include commentary on the impoundment, release and slaughter of animals. Other matters include the inspection of commercial premises in relation to health matters. The reports reveal that scope of duties of the Inspector of Nuisances included those of a pound keeper and these of a health officer.
