Geological 3D model of the Elbe Zone

The geological model visualises the sequence and distribution of the geological rock layers of the area of the Elbe zone north and south of Dresden in a 3 dimensional space. The geological model of the Elbezone is a basic model. This depicts the encountered rock layers of the chalk in the underground (up to 500 m below NN). Furthermore, the model integrates geological disturbances and was created as GOCAD model in version 2013/2. Among other things, the model was carried out with a view to the spread of possible groundwater reservoirs.
