Conditions were observed at the sea surface and at depths of 5,10,20,30,50
and 75 meters at 54 points in the territorial waters of the Oita Prefecture.
Observations were carried out once a month for 28 years from April 1965 to
March 1993. Observation items include year, month, day, time, water
temperature, salinity, transparency, data on waves and swells, wind direction
and force, atmospheric temperature, cloud forms, weather, and atmospheric
pressure. Measurements of COD, NH4-N, NO2-N, NO3-N, PO4-P, DO were carried
out only in Beppu Bay, and recorded on a personal computer.
The input data capacity of latitude and longitude values are limited
only to degrees.

Min. Longitude: 131deg.31min. E
Max. Longitude: 132deg.13min. E
