资源简介:
MAP studies allow programmers to make an assessment of product availability and accessibility using pre-defined criteria for coverage, quality of coverage and access. Its goal is to increase the overall efficiency of social marketing product and service delivery systems. The main objectives of the PSI/Mexico 2010 MAP survey were to: (1) monitor the coverage and quality of coverage of condoms in high-risk areas for HIV/AIDS (hot zones); and (2) monitor access and market penetration of condoms in those areas. The MAP methodology employs the Lot Quality Assurance Sampling (LQAS) technique that draws a random sample of 19 hotzones (or up to 30 hot zones) from every supervision area (city) to calculate the availability of condoms based on a predefined minimum standard. In the present study only one city out of three in which PSI-Mexico has it condom availability program, had more than 19 hot zones, allowing for the use of LQAS technique: Veracruz with 34 hot zones in 2009, from which 21 were randomly selected in 2010.
