Site descriptions for field transplant experiment on Banks Peninsula, New Zealand

This CSV file contains the site descriptions for 47 field sites used for a field transplant experiment on Banks Peninsula, New Zealand between 2010 and 2012. Cuttings of Aeonium arboreum, Aeonium haworthii and Cotyledon orbiculata were planted at each field site, and most received a germination tray containing seeds of each species. Some sites had only germination trays. Fields are: Site (unique ID), Easting (NZMG), Northing (NZTM), Description (local directions), Altitude (metres above sea level), Aspect (cardinal direction), Installed (date cuttings were transplanted, DD/MM/YY), Germination Tray? (true/false, did site contain a germination tray), Top (which cardinal direction did the top row of plants face), Order (L-R) (when facing the top row, what was the order of species columns, AA = A. arboreum, AH = A. haworthii, CO = C. orbiculata), CO (top-bottom) (from top to bottom of the C. orbiculata column, what were the unique cutting IDs planted), AH (top-bottom) (as previous, but for A. haworthii), AA (top-bottom) (as previous, but for A. arboreum), CCD (percentage overhead canopy cover as estimated using a convex canopy densitometer). The characters "NA" indicate "not applicable", or blank cells. <br>
