The Excel database contains data on Cryptosporidium spp. and Giardia duodenalis from 130 red fox and 35 raccoon dog faecal samples in the framework of the "National Rabies Surveillance and Control Programme". The fecal samples were stained with immunofluorescence staining. The database contains information on the date of sample collection, hunting county, and age of the animal in years, as well as information on the concentration of Cryptosporidium spp. and Giardia duodenalis in a 1 g sample. Samples were collected from October 2022 to May 2023.
