Dataset associated with "Toward programmed complex mechanical deformations of Liquid Crystal Elastomers"

Using an empirical model encapsulating much of the anisotropic and nonlinear mechanical behaviour of Liquid Crystal Elastomers (LCEs), we study the localised deformation behaviour of a complexly-aligned LCE. This dataset provides the raw data from our tensile mechanical tests and the python scripts used to analyse photographs of the sample during mechanical deformation.
