Comparison of the effects of cefmetazole and meropenem on microbiome

Cefmetazole is active against ESBL-producing bacteria and is used as a carbapenem-sparing regimen. We compared the impact of cefmetazole use on the microbiome with that of carbapenems and antimicrobial-naive controls.
