DAAWBench is the first large-scale RGB-D air-writing dataset (over 8.8M frames) for virtual reality, featuring 201 participants , 6 types of interaction environments, 120\u00b0 writing viewpoint variations, over 200 individual handwriting styles and full coverage of 3,755 GB2312 characters with all structural types. The dataset systematically captures population diversity and real-world interaction conditions, filling a critical gap in research on high-degree-of-freedom, immersive, and multimodal handwriting-based human-computer interaction.
