Whole genome bisulfite sequencing of colon and colon-derived organoids from F1 mouse crosses (JF1x C57BL6/J) was performed to compare the DNA methylation status between the original tissue and tissue-derived organoids. Because F1 mice (JF1x C57BL6/J) were used to analyze DNA methylation status, it was also possible to evaluate the methylation status of each parental allele by using SNPs between JF1 mice and C57BL6/J mice.
