Source data and code for: flavonoids and related phenolics in the cultivated Saccharum complex (Poaceae)

Machine-readable inventory, supplementary tables and code accompanying the manuscript "Chemophenetics of the cultivated Saccharum complex (Poaceae): an evidence-graded appraisal of the published occurrence records". The dataset records 54 compound entries (78 occurrence records) of flavonoids and related phenolics reported from the cultivated Saccharum complex, each resolved by taxon as reported, plant part or processing stream, level of structural evidence (A, B, B/C, C, N) and distinctiveness tier (1–4). The record also contains the structure-based cross-check, the comparison with earlier reviews, the structure file, Tables 1 and 2, Figures 1 and 3, a script that regenerates the figures and a script that recomputes every count reported in the manuscript.Version 2.0.0 is the revision after peer review. It adds Zhu et al. (2010) and Devi and Muthu (2015), records the appraisal of Devi and Muthu (2014), adds the compartment "Whole plant", and updates all derived files.
