This dataset accompanies the article "Plastic Reduction in Informal Retail: Behavioral and Structural Barriers in Taiwan’s Traditional Markets" submitted to Resources, Conservation & Recycling (Elsevier). The data were collected from 401 respondents in Taipei’s traditional markets using a structured questionnaire based on an extended Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The dataset includes items measuring Attitude, Subjective Norms, Convenience, Environmental Concern, Pro-Environmental Habits, and Usage Intentions for both plastic and reusable bags. Analyses were performed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and mediation testing.
