Farmer demand for quality seed and adoption of improved varieties: The case of rice, legumes and oilseeds in the dry zone of Myanmar

This data set includes data from a survey conducted in the Dry Zone in Myanmar encompassing following regions and townships--Sagaing region (Myinmu and Monywa), Magway region (Magway and Pwint Phyu) and Mandalay region (Madaya and Kyaukse). The purpose of this survey was to assess the demand for quality seed and varietal adoption by smallholder farmers. The study covered the following 8 crops: paddy, sunflower, black gram, greengram, groundnut, sesame, pigeon pea and chickpea.
