Gut microbiome by shotgun sequencing in the Milieu Intérieur cohort

Gut microbiome composition obtained by shotgun sequencing from 1,359 fecal microbiome samples from 946 healthy donors of the Milieu Intérieur cohort. The data were collected to understand the host and environmental factors influencing the microbiome, as microbial therapeutics are increasingly being tested in diverse patient populations.
Processed data are the relative abundance of 3,885 fecal microbial taxons (species level) as columns, from 1,359 fecal samples of 946 MI subjects as rows. Raw data are sequencing reads in standard fastq format.
