CognitiveReinforcement_data

This repository contains data collected for the paper "Cognitive reinforcement: capturing tacit knowledge and enhancing expertise with a biofeedback interface for visual attention", published on Journal of Neural Engineering. For ethical reasons, we have only uploaded data of those participants who gave consent to have their physiological data publicly available online (17 out of 30).The data is organized per subject, and contains the following data types:EEG_Data: electroencephalography data collected to monitor peripheral visual attention using SSVEPs and to monitor the participant's Error Realted Potentials (ErrP).Gaze_Data: eye-tracking data collected to monitor participant's eye movementsResponses_Data: contains information about participant's responses, from which we can compute classification accuracies, response times, survey responses, etc.All three types of data have files corresponding to the different stages of the experiments (see paper for more specifics): "Learning_Phase", "Implicit_Survey" (also named Self-Awareness Phase in the paper), and "Final_Part".
