Target capture hantavirus surveillance produces complete genomes for Choclo and Andes virus

In this study, we provide a proof-of-concept for future large-scale screening efforts using an Illumina Viral Surveillance Panel adapted for target enrichment of hantaviruses. This resulted in the assembly of nearly-complete to complete genomes for six Choclo viruses and two Andes viruses from natural history archives.
