"This dataset contains the field sample plots and image-based reference samples used for land-cover classification in the Ruoergai Grassland, located on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau, China. The data were collected to support long-term land-cover mapping from 1985 to 2024 based on Landsat time-series imagery. The dataset includes plot-based survey records and visually interpreted reference samples representing the main land-cover categories used in this study, including grassland, shrub-encroached grassland, shrubland, built-up land, trees, water bodies, marsh meadow, and shrub marsh. These samples were used for model training, validation, and accuracy assessment in the development of the Probability-Structure-Constrained Adaptive Stacking (PSC-AdaStacking) classification framework. The dataset provides essential reference information for reproducing the classification process and for understanding land-cover dynamics and transition pathways in alpine grassland\u2013wetland systems."
