Transcriptional Profiling of Adult Spermatagonial Populations in Mus musculus. Mus musculus

The goal of this study is to identify the molecular signature of a variety of populations of adult spermatagonia in Mus musculus. To isolate these cell populations, we used a combination of well-known surface markers for undifferentiated or differentiated spermatagonia in combination with expression of Tomato driven by the endogenous Telomerase Reverse Transcriptase (TERT) promoter. The populations sequenced include: Tert-Hi Kit- undifferentiated spermatagonia and Tert-Low Kit+ differentiated spermatagonia.
