Changes in pteropod assemblage driven by monsoonal variability and associated oceanographic conditions since the Last Glacial Maximum in the eastern Arabian Sea

The dataset includes the relative abundance of different pteropod species, the average shell size of Heliconoides inflatus (earlier known as Limacina inflata), Limacina Dissolution Index (LDX) derived from H. inflatus from ~25,000 to 3,500 calibrated year Before Present (cal yr BP) in Core SK291/GC17 retrieved from a water depth of ~182 meters off Goa coast, the eastern Arabian Sea (EAS). It is the first report to show the temporal variation in the shell size of H. inflatus and LDX from the eastern Arabian Sea.
