The open nested honey bee/Dwarf bee, Apis florea, from onion ecosystem was collected and in aseptic environment, the gut of bee was dissected. The DNA isolated from the gut was sequenced by targetting V3-V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene using the Illumina MiSeq Platform.
