DBC-funded GGZ; persons, main diagnosis; migr.,2015-2021

This table shows the number of persons in mental health care (GHZ) according to the mental illness for which care was provided in the year under review. This concerns only the care funded in the form of DBCs (Diagnosis Treatment Combinations). This concerns outpatient care and care with a stay of up to one year, for persons aged 18 or over. The table lists both individuals for whom the diagnosis to be selected was the most important (primary) diagnosis, as well as persons for whom this diagnosis was registered as either primary or secondary diagnosis. For example: the table counts both the number of people in whom a depressive disorder was the most important diagnosis to be treated, as well as those in whom a depressive disorder was an additional (even) diagnosis recorded because it affected treatment. Data is displayed by age, gender and migration background. The last reporting years have been based on a less complete stock and are therefore less reliable. CBS is moving on to a new classification of the population by origin. From now on, it is more decisive where someone was born, in addition to where one’s parents were born. The word ‘migration background’ is no longer used. The main division of Western/Non-Western is replaced by a classification based on continents and common immigration countries. This classification is gradually introduced in tables and publications with population by origin. As this table will soon be stopped due to the closure of the DBC system, the new origin classification will not be applied in this table. Data available from 2015 to 2021 Status of the figures: All figures are final. Changes as of 6 February 2024: — The preliminary figures for 2020 and 2021 have been finalised unchanged. — The table has been discontinued due to the transition to a new funding model in the GGZ in 2022, the Healthcare Performance Model (ZPM). When will there be new figures? The table has been discontinued because the DBC system in the GGZ has been abolished as of 1 January 2022. A new set of tables is expected to start based on the ZPM as soon as the data is sufficiently reliable.
